Dante’s journey as a goaltender began at age six and has taken him from elite youth hockey programs to the professional ranks across North America. As a young goaltender, he quickly gained recognition, becoming MVP in five major tournaments with the Manitoba 2K2 Warriors AAA program and earning national attention for his standout performance at the prestigious Brick Tournament in Edmonton with the Winnipeg Junior Jets.

Throughout his youth career, Dante was coached by NHL legends like Kris Draper and Pierre McGuire, competed in international tournaments across Europe, and played with many now-NHL stars. He trained and competed with top programs such as Pro Hockey Development in Toronto, Burnaby Winter Club, AAA hockey programs in Winnipeg (Assiniboine Rangers, Winnipeg Monarchs), as well as the Rink Hockey Academy, winning over 20 major championships along the way.

Dante has trained and played internationally, from New York to Italy, Sweden, and Latvia, facing powerhouse teams like the Russian Red Army and AK Bars. Drafted by the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks, Dante signed at 15 and played under NHL-experienced coaches Mike Johnston, Don Hay, and goaltending legend Andy Moog. His WHL performance led him into the pro ranks, where he played in the ECHL with the Utah Grizzlies, the Colorado Avalanche’s affiliate, before earning a call-up to the AHL’s Colorado Eagles. He has since played with the Norfolk Admirals and Iowa Heartlanders, adding to his professional resume.

Dante also attended training camps with the AHL Manitoba Moose, signed a PTO (Professional Tryout Agreement), and took part in NHL training camps with the Winnipeg Jets, gaining firsthand experience at the game’s highest level.

Dante has worked at the Rink Training Centre as a goaltending instructor for five years.  He has trained all across North America with the nation’s top goaltending coaches.

With nearly 18 years in the crease and experience across elite youth, junior, international, and professional levels, Dante brings a deep understanding of the mental and physical demands of goaltending.
